Hmmm...don't often see that in today's scientific world.

"Eleven people have been killed in a stadium riot in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo after a soccer player tried to use witchcraft to win a local match, United Nations-backed Radio Okapi has reported. Nyuki club was losing to local rivals Socozaki on Sunday (local time) when Nyuki's goalkeeper advanced up the pitch and tried to use "fetishist" spells to turn the tide of the match. When a police commander tried to break up an ensuing brawl between rival players, members of the crowd pelted him with rocks, the radio added. Police fired teargas in response, causing a stampede to the exits in which 11 people were killed."

Now could you imagine what kind of response you'd get from Alan Hansen on Match of the Day if that happened in the premiership (not the killings, the witchcraft thing)... 'Oh, look at the spell casting..its all over the place and the boy at the back..well, he's no experience of dabbling in the occult at all...what was the manager thinking?' etc etc.

1 mumbles or rants about it:

Think Arry's going to need a bit of the old black magic to dig Spurs out of the poo...
