To Elbow... a small note of appreciation

...congrats on winning the Mercury Music Prize and presenting the world with some of the most fantastic music. One of my favourite bands ever whose music just goes round and round on my ipod (if that is not too technically inaccurate for the pedants out there) and never gets tired. Soaring, dark, beautiful, majestic, moody, surprising, powerful, controlled, electric, raw, intricate, poignant, melodic, romantic, rhythmic, passionate, calm, fraught, peaceful - all words that spring to mind when listening to any one of their four albums. There's something about watching the crimson sunset listening to Newborn, Fugitive Motel or The Stops as i cruise over the Sydney harbour bridge that somehow always makes me appreciate life that little bit more. The best tracks of Elbow would surely be equal with the best tracks that any other artist in history could put together in my opinion, I rate them that highly.

Keep up the amazing work.

Wholeheartedly agree.

Their cover of Independent Woman is still one of my favourites though.....
